Speechreading Instructor

This is a contractual position for individuals who will be responsible for teaching those affected by hearing loss the fundamentals of speechreading (lipreading), communication strategies and understanding of hearing loss. They will also create a warm atmosphere where members can share their experience.

  • Applicant requirements: background in education or a related field and experience with the hearing loss community (or other disabilities).

Project Animator

This is a contractual position for individuals responsible for educating children between the ages of 8-12, about the risk of Noise Induced Hearing Loss (NIHL) and how to prevent it. Hear Québec has both a recreational model for this program and an educational one.

  • Applicant requirements: background in animation and/or education.
