Membership
Active membership is open to all who are hard of hearing and their families as well as persons with normal hearing, students, and professionals (i.e. Audiologists, Acousticians). Veterans, full-time students and young people aged 16-18 can receive a free membership when you fill out the attached form!
Active members share Hear Québec’s mission and philosophy, and can become members for a one (1) year duration by completing a membership form and paying their annual fee (payable by cash, online, or by cheque payable to Hear Québec).
At Hear Québec, we deeply value the opinions of our members. We’ve listened to their feedback and have worked hard this past year to help streamline the membership renewal process. For the 2022-2023 membership year, we have debuted our new renewal form! Past members have received a simplified membership form in the mail. For the renewal to be successfully processed, the form still must be completed, signed, and returned to Hear Québec with payment.
You can now sign up online to become a Hear Québec member. Simply fill out the form below and attach it to an email to info@hearhear.org.
Membership Advantages:
- The right to vote at our Annual General Meeting

“Through Hear Québec’s programs, I learned strategies for coping with my hearing loss. The speechreading teachers are caring and dedicated and although many classmates are seniors, to me, there is no age barrier. Some students have become long-term friends of mine, and I have enjoyed the warmth of their friendship. The outings in the social club are the best activities to connect all members together. Members can chat and get to know one another and enjoy these accessible activities. Once, by chance, I met a previous member of Hear Québec in the Fine Arts Museum. We enjoyed talking about the exhibition and our common interests. It encouraged me that there are other members who enjoy the same things as me. My fellow members give me the support and encouragement to continue coping with my hearing loss.”
