Vibrator Buzzer
This alarm clock is placed under the pillow. It can be set to buzz, vibrate or both. Has night light and snooze button.

Ameriphone VCO
Special telephone that allow users to speak to other person but will not hear the response. Instead they can read on the screen what they are saying. Involves intervention by Bell Relay Service operator.

Clearsound CSC40
Hearing aid compatible receiver. Equipped with Caller-ID screen, speakerphone, and two switches to increase volume of incoming calls, adjustable ringer and tone. Have facilities to connect hands- free cable, neck loop, or headset.

Cordless Phones
Unit on right has speakerphone, adjustable volume control, most features of cell phones but distance is limited to confines of home. Unit on left is standard cordless.

Crescendo SHI 450
Equipped with special cup on receiver to reduce feedback from hearing aids. Can connect neck loop, headset, and hands-free devices. Adjustable, volume, ringer, and tone.

Environmental System
There are two types: visual and tactile. Visual systems alert by flashing lights when a telephone
or doorbell rings, and usually works on household wiring. Each device requires a separate transmitter. Tactile systems are wireless and rely on the sense of touch or feel. See Environment Wireless Receiver.

Infrared System for TV
The wireless system comes in 2 models: stetho and pendant types. The stetho model is used with hearing aids without a telephone coil or the person does not wear a heairng aid. The pendant model is used with hearing aids equipped with a telephone coil together with a neck loop or silhouette. Volume is user controlled and adjusted to the individual's comfort level regardless of the volume of the TV. A neck loop is not recommended for people with pacemakers.

Neck Loop for Cell
Battery powered neck loop with 2.5 mm plug to connect to cell phone. Allows hands-free operation of cell phone. 3.5 mm adaptor included for use with any assistive receiver.

Personal Amplifiers with IR
For one-on-one conversation or group situations. Includes Infrared (IR) receiver to watch TV. Has built-in adjustable microphones. Can be adapted as inline telephone amplifier.  Volume level may be adjusted to user's comfort level.

Telephnonhe Amplifiers (clockwise)
Standard inline telephone amplifier with volume and tone control; connects between telephone and handset. Round black amplifier attaches to handset receiver, no volume control or ON/OFF switch. Doubles as microphone for one-on-one conversation. Used with telephone coil equipped hearing aids and silhouette. White square amplifier attaches to receiver of handset. Has volume and ON/OFF switch.

Pocket Talker Ultra
For one-on-one conversation or small group close by. Fits neatly and comfortably in palm of hand. Equipped with Omni directional microphone, volume and tone control.

Environment Wireless Receiver
The small device may be carried or clipped to clothing. The receiver vibrates when the telephone or doorbell rings and a corresponding coloured indicator glows on the front panel. As with a visual system, each device requires a separate transmitter.

Inline Telephone Amp with Tone
Connects between telephone handset and base of telephone. Designed as a stationary unit so it can be placed near or next to the telephone. Sliding controls adjust tone of different frequencies. Accepts headset, neck loop, or hands-free device.
